Arsenal Seek Winger Juventus

Arsenal seem to be desperate to get US star Monaco Thomas Lemar. French national team players prefer to stay in Monaco rather than move to England.

Failed to get Lemar, Arsenal target Juventus winger, Juan Cuadrado. Gunners manager Arsene Wenger wants to bring in the Colombian national team player in the winter transfer market in 2018.

As reported by Sportskeeda, Saturday (16/09/2017), Wenger attracted to Cuadrado because it is a versatile player. He can be played as a wingback in 3-4-1-3 scheme. In addition, Cuadrado can also operate as a right winger.

Cuadrado price was also not too expensive. He is valued at 31 million euros. Compare with Lemar price which reached 104 also euro.

Juventus reportedly did not mind to release Cuadrado because it will benefit from the sale. The Italian club paid only 20 million euros when changing the status of Cuadrado from contract to permanent at Chelsea. In addition, this 29-year-old is not a major part of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans this season.

Arsenal are rarely active in the winter transfer market which took place at the beginning of the year. But, some important purchases ever made the London club, such as Andrei Arsavin.
